On Ask Win today (Wednesday, March 25, 2020), Best-Selling Author, Win C welcomes Yovana Maria Portillo. Yovana was born and raised in Arizona to immigrant parents from Mexico. Yovana grew up with two brothers and a sister. Yovana’s Mom passed away in 2005 and this changed her family's dynamic because her Mom was the Matriarch. Since Yovana was left with only one parent her relationship with her Dad definitely changed and we are closer now then they ever were when Yovana was younger. He is one of Yovana’s biggest fans and supports everything Yovana do. Yovana earned a B.A. in History from Arizona State University and Yovana is a proud Sundevil. In the spring of 2016 Yovana was living a pretty normal, active and healthy life just like any other 34 year old. And in April of 2016 Yovana was a passenger in a motor vehicle accident. As a precautionary measure Yovana went to the E.R. to get checked out because she had suffered whiplash and was experiencing severe neck discomfort. Yovana received an evaluation that included a CT-scan. Yovana was informed that she did not have any broken bones, that Yovana had primarily suffered soft tissue damage. But, a mass had been discovered in her left lung that Yovana might want to get checked out, and Yovana was encouraged to follow up with her PCP or with a Pulmonologist.
